Screenshot Protection Feature

Hello,

I hope all is well, and I really enjoy your program. I just had a quick feature request. Would it be possible to add a hotkey to toggle screenshot protection on and off? Alternatively, could you implement a timer option?

For example, it would be helpful to temporarily disable screenshot protection for a set period, such as one minute, to take a quick screenshot, and then have it automatically re-enable afterward. The main reason I am asking is to avoid forgetting to turn it back on. This has happened to me a couple of times, and I think it would be a great feature to have.

I understand that a hotkey might present security concerns if it were discovered or misused, but a timer-based option for screenshot protection would be an excellent and valuable addition.

I thought I was alone on this!

I would like to suggest the tray icon drop-down rather than just a check/no-check (off/on), have that and a two, 20 and 60 minute time check-it/self-uncheck selection. As well, while the protection is disabled, a red dot or some other indication for the tray icon, which it should always have had, IMHO.

Cheers.

Great idea! I will share with our team. I sometimes run into the issue where I must screenshot something for work and it wastes mine time having to disable that.

It’s indeed a good idea, and hopefully Microsoft will add an API in feature versions of Windows 11/12 that restores the ability to monitor screen access per application. Just like is the case on Windows 10.
