Reactivate the taskbar icon after taskbar (explorer.exe) restarted

Hello

I remarked after the Windows taskbar (explorer.exe) restarted (it crashed then Windows restarted it automatically), the SpyShelter taskbar icon was missing.
SpyShelter.exe is still running though (2 processes).

That is a rather common problem with software icons on taskbar restart. I don’t remember how to circumvent it but I know there is a way (a Windows event? Or was it the way you register your icon?).

Our team has opened a ticket, thanks for your report. I killed my Taskbar and I could recreate this, and strangely enough my other notification icons did come back, while SpyShelter’s did not.
