- Events window, the ability to supress/ignore certain events (e.g drivers that load/unload expected or defender updates that repeat hourly) would be nice to have an option in the event window to supress/ignore optional events from showing (maybe have a subtab for supressed events)
- Screenshot protection app exclsuion (ability to keep the protection on, but exclude a specifc app or apps.
thanks!
@cyanide Thanks for your feedback.
For 1, I believe you’re the second person to request this. Please note, if you go to the top left “Alerts” pull-down menu you can suppress certain types of events there. However, I understand that’s not what you are asking for but I thought I’d mention it since this is a public forum, in case some people didn’t know that.
You’re asking for the ability to ignore events from certain apps, and that’s a cool idea.
- Yes, we hope to be able to do this exclusion also for screenshot protection in the future and it’s on our roadmap, but it’s a bit complicated so we’re still understanding how to make it possible.
Thank you for taking the time to write these!
Many thanks! yep have played with the options / views but cant achieve what i need… indeed its the possibility to supress individual events
e.g i do want to see drivers added/removed but there are certain driver add/remove events i dont want to see as they repeat / expected …
so id like to supress by event.
thanks!
also something just to clarify
right now yep we can filter the types of events in the viewer, however even if you have filtered to hide “new binary” or “driver added/removed” there is still a red mark on the icon when triggered, and viewing events shows nothing (as they are filtered) - and still need to “mark all read” to clear the red mark on the systray icon.
so if it is planned for any kind of hide/supess of specific events, that these also do NOT trigger the red mark on the icon
id like to be able to supress specific events so they are not shown in the events view, and they also must not trigger a Red mark.
Cheers
You can selectively mark some events as “read” automatically; you can find that option in Settings → Mark as unread. However, it still does not allow you to ignore specific events only, just a few pre-defined groups of them. We will consider this for the future versions, thank you!
